Bob Sampson, Owner of RJS Financial has been a licensed planner for 18 years. Bob enjoys helping clients be less stressed about money and finances. He recalls his parents conversing about money as a child. While they weren’t consistent arguers, the arguments, they did have seemed to be over money. Helping clients live the lives they want to lead and being able to place importance on things other than money is at the heart of Bob’s passion for his profession. A reformed triathlete, Bob spends his free time golfing and traveling. It’s even better when both of those loves can be combined! The greatest part of the job for Bob is getting to know his clients and developing a relationship with the families that he helps. Watching children grow up and seeing clients reach financial goals and milestones are rewards that go far beyond the numbers. Meetings with clients include more in-depth discussions about their lives. This is important to Bob because getting to know his clients often helps him create financial plans and set goals.

Laurie Palmer is the glue that holds it all together. As Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to Bob for over 15 years, she oversees the daily operations here at RJS. From event planning and marketing to client correspondence and account maintenance, Laurie does it all. Her love of organization and office work has been a passion since she was a child, when playing office was one of her favorite past times. While continuously encouraged to become a licensed financial planner by Bob, Laurie is content being behind the scenes. That being said, she is the first friendly face that clients are greeted by when they enter the RJS offices. Outside of work, Laurie enjoys spending time with her family and her new grand-baby! In her free time, you may also find her creating scrapbooks, memory bears, quilts, and paper art. With a creative mind and kind soul, Laurie is proud to offer one-on-one attention to all our RJS clients.
